It's been a great week in the studio! We are loving seeing everyone so motivated - so keep up the good work!
As most of you know, Alyssa will be tying the knot with her 'Love Boat' romance in the beginning of February! To keep classes running, we're bringing up the fabulous and wonderful Camelle Pink to take Alyssa's classes over this period. Alyssa trained Camelle in Barre down in Auckland and is a popular instructor at many studios throughout the city.
Please give her a warm welcome when she arrives and be sure keep an eye on the schedule for future changes!
Camelle discovered Pilates at a young age to support her body through her classical and contemporary dance training. While Camelle's experience with Pilates is dance specific, she has developed her understanding of the fundamentals through teaching group fitness classes around Auckland.
Camelle is a teacher, dancer, choreographer, academic, and event planner in the performing arts industry. Recently she completed her Masters in Dance Studies at The University of Auckland. She has a strong interest in community dance and dance education, with a passion to provide diverse solutions for people within the wider dance community.
Her passion for movement extends beyond the dance classroom. She believes that moving is for everyone and that everybody deserves to find efficient ways to move and be comfortable in their own bodies. Pilates is one way that Camelle helps people achieve that. Whether you are looking to support an injury, gain some strength, or simply move a bit more, Camelle loves to guide people through their own body learning.
Food For Thought
As we get back into the hustle and bustle of work, remember these tips to make your work environment the best for you and your body. Pilates is known for improving your posture, so think twice when you're about to skip class. As the old saying goes, "If you don't use it, you loose it."
“Breathing is the first act of life and the last. Our very life depends on it.”
