Where has the year gone? Our November Challenge is in full force with 33 challengers taking on 15 classes in 30 days. We're only six days in, and we've seen quite a lot of gold stars hitting the chart - so keep up the good work! Also, just a friendly reminder as classes are getting busier as we head into summer, don't forget to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
The studio will be closed over the Christmas/New Year period from the 18th of December to the 6th of January. All memberships will be placed on hold for this time, and class pass expirations dates will be extended. Members, please note this may also change the day your payment typically goes out. Please reach out to either myself or Asita if you have any questions.
Lastly, I'd like to make a big shout out to our Kerikeri Half Marathon Prep Team and wish you all the best of luck for the 18th! We'll be seeing you at the finish line under the Whitelaw Weber tent to stretch you out.
Have a fabulous week and see you in the studio!

Essential Oil of the Month: Lavendar
Lavender has been used and cherished for centuries for its unmistakable aroma and myriad benefits. In ancient times, the Egyptians and Romans used Lavender for bathing, relaxation, cooking, and as a perfume. Its calming and relaxing qualities, when taken internally, continue to be Lavender’s most notable attributes. Applied topically, Lavender is frequently used to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. Add to bath water to soak away stress or apply to the temples and the back of the neck. Add a few drops of Lavender to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet to relax and prepare for a restful night’s sleep. Due to Lavender’s versatile properties, it is considered the must-have oil to have on hand at all times.
Oily TIp: SORE MUSCLES: Apply 4-6 drops of lavender essential oil to Epsom salt or capful of milk & then put into the bath (Epsom salt or milk help disperse the oils throughout bath water). Soak in the bath and let the ache float away.
